Description: Description: These copper crystals are from the Chino Mine in Santa Rita, Grant County, New Mexico, USA. They are from the 2006 find by Stan Esbenshade. He found a boulder that had some partially exposed crystals and then carefully leached and trimmed hundreds of copper specimens from it. This is a double terminated leaf-like spinel copper. It measures 1 7/16 x 9/16 x 1/4 inches or 37 x 14 x 6 mm. All photos are taken under 60 watt Daylight CFL bulbs unless stated otherwise. Colors may vary slightly when viewed under different light sources. The measurements are taken of surfaces of the piece when viewed from the display side or as stated otherwise. They are approximate and are rounded to the closest increment. Please note the dimensions carefully.
