This glove is for the RIGHT handed thrower as the glove fits on the LEFT hand ! This particular glove is fully broken, it is flexible, easy to use and it feels wonderful on the hand ! The glove does have an outer sleeve for the index finger and you do want to use this sleeve because factory has designed it to be used this way ! The index finger stall would be very tight on the index finger, but if the index finger goes into the outer sleeve then the glove feels very comfortable ! The glove also has an incredible pocket as you can clearly see in the photos ! So Once the ball enters the pocket of this glove it is not going to pop out ! Checkout the 4th and the 5th photos how the glove will wrap itself around a full size 12 inch round softball softball and also the 6th photo how the glove looks in the closed position without a ball in the pocket ! The 7th photo shows how the mitt can cradle 2 full size 12 inch round softballs at one time ! So as you can clearly see the glove has a very nice pocket ! As far as fitting goes, this glove is a snug but comfortable fit on my average adult size hand but its not tight around the wrist and it does not have the Velcro wrist strap ! The inner lining is in excellent condition as the glove is extremely comfortable to the hand and the fingers all the way up through the finger stalls ! You will not be disappointed with this glove !
