Description: Never worn SSO/Sposn SAS smock style Special Forces winter parka, in Russian EMR digiflora, RU size is 60/188 (roughly a US 2XL Tall). Heavy, durable, and very warm....too warm for my (deep south) area, unfortunately. Jacket is a durable rain-resistant windbreaker smock-style jacket, equipped with a warm removable synthetic insulating lining that can be worn separately as a stand-alone jacket. It is therefore a very universal jacket that can be used in all seasons and weather conditions. It protects perfectly against wind and rain, and if the temperatures drop you can use its special lining. Outer shell is 35% cotton, 65% nylon rip-stop and very durable, with a thin synthetic lining. Can be worn with or without the insulated lining, high and wide collar, hood with semi-rigid visor. There are three adjustments on the hood for a precise fit. Front double-ended zipper, unzips both top and bottom, storm flap covering the front zipper with buttons and velcro, velcro cuffs for seamless wrist circumference adjustment. Front flap and 5 exterior pockets are fastened with large Canadian sling buttons, which are more reliable than conventional buttons. The large buttons makes them convenient for work with thick gloves. Bulk pockets on the torso have fold-over flaps that prevents the contents from falling out, even when upside-down. Two large "Napoleon" pockets have vertical zipper closures. There are cord adjustments at the waist and bottom of the jacket and on the hood. The button-in liner is quilted along with the insulation, buckles to the smock jacket and fastens when worn as a stand-alone jacket, the liner and hood incorporates a warm insulated fleece for comfortable wear, knit cuffs at the sleeves, zippered inside pocket on left side, and Primaloft Black insulation. A draft collar on the inside prevents drafts at the waist. Never used, been hanging in my coat closet for ~6 years. Time to send it to somewhere colder.
