Description: St Ignatius of AntiochSingle Decade Rosary This single decade rosary has a 7/8" nickel silver St Ignatius of Antioch medal and a 1-3/4" silver-trimmed white acrylic crucifix. Both the medal and the crucifix were made in Italy; and the rosary itself was designed and handmade by me in the USA. All eleven beads are 8 mm. The single Our Father is a smooth, round, genuine Amethyst gemstone. The ten Hail Mary beads are genuine Czech glass, faceted and fire-polished, in a pale blue color called "Ice Blue". Many of his letters dealt with the Sacraments and role of Bishops and provide information about the early Church. St Ignatius was arrested and taken in chains to Rome and martyred by being thrown to lions in the Colloseum. He is the patron saint of the Churches in the Eastern Mediterranean and North Africa. The prayer cards which come with our rosaries, medals and pictures are home-made, created using a "greeting card" program on a computer and printed in full color on nice quality paper.
