Description: This plane was VERY lightly used, if used at all. It has some light rust on the bottom front (shown clearly in pics) which could be lapped out if needed. There is also a BREAK NI THE REAR TOTE - it is very clean and tight and could very easily be glued so as to hardly show. The front knob appears to have a crack, but I think it is sound and is only a finishing flaw which shows in the pic - decide for yopurself. The japanning is near 100% and the rest of the plane is really nice - repair the crack and you will have a plane to give you a lifetime of service. These are the LAST of the really great bench planes Stanley made - all of the improvements made over the many years of production are present.
