Description: 4-T18-B This is a Stanley Bailey No 4 smoothing plane, Type 18 (1946 - 47) production model. The plane has been fully RESTORED. It came to me in a rusted, abused condition, so it was stripped, lapped, and repainted with 3 coats of a high lacquer, Krylon paint. The iron is ground and honed to 30° at 1200 grit. When I first looked at it, I almost didn't go to the trouble, but since the T18 is such a short production period, I gave it a chance. It took a litte work, but boy am I pleased!! It turned out very, very nice; so nice that if my T18 No 4 wasn't so original, I would sell the one in my collection. Excellent cutter!!!! Shipping will be USPS Priority Flat Rate Mail (medium box).
