Hard to find Original Soundtrack Double album from “Star Wars” the classic George Lucas film starring Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher amongst others. Music Composed, Arranged and Conducted by John Williams with The London Symphony Orchestra. In the Original Gatefold Cover with NO Barcode, Cutouts or promo markings. Includes the Original Printed 20th Century Records Inner Sleeves. There is some shelf wear, edge creasing and corner softening/wear. There is a small crease in the lower right corner. Super solid with no splits, stains, tears, writing, cutouts, etc. and would rate VG. The Vinyl is in clean Glossy condition looking lightly played. If you really look closely you can spot a handful of light scuffs and a couple faint hairlines - no actual scratches i.e. something you can feel with a fingernail. At least a good VG+ visually and plays mostly perfectly EX to NM but an occasional spot of faint groove noise - may just need a better cleaning than I can give with my Discwasher brush. The Labels are Near Mint. If I provide Play Grades it is done as a courtesy but I only guarantee the Visual Grade. I have summarized the important (i.e. I think everyone knows what Mint means) points below in Goldmine's words: Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them.
