Description: State of Indiana, Executive Department, Indianapolis, October 16, 1912 Whereas, By an act of the General Assembly, approved March 6, 1889, it is made the duty of the Governor to certify to the County Clerk of each county of the State the name and place of residence of each person nominated for any public office for which all the electors are entitled to vote;Now, therefore, I, Thomas R. Marshall, Governor of of the State of Indiana, do hereby certify that the Democratic part of Indiana has made the following nominations for Presidential Electors and State officers, to be voted for on Tuesday, the 5th day of November, 1912, and has adopted the Rooster in the attitude of crowing as a device under which said list of candidates shall be printed, as set forth in a certificate filed in the Governor's office as required by law, to wit:Names, Residence, Office 6 page document - printed single-sided - final page shows a crimped Gold Seal of the State of Indiana - with simulated Governor and Secretary of State signatures.
