Description: State Opening Of Parliament London 1951 Vintage Print A print from a disbound book about London dated 1951, the reverse side has an unrelated picture. Caption beneath the picture - A STATE OPENING OF PARLIAMENT. The royal coach turns into Whitehall from Horse Guards Parade. Behind the procession is the Horse Guards itself, an eighteenth-century building guarded by mounted sentries of the Household Cavalry. Suitable for framing, the average picture size is approx 9.75" x 7.5" or 25cm x 19cm, actual page size inc border and text approx 11" x 8.5". This is a vintage print, printed on semi-gloss heavy magazine style paper not a modern copy and does show signs of age or previous use commensurate with the age of the print with possible light creases, marks or foxing.
