First issued in 1994, this limited edition nutcracker is 17.5 inches tall and 5 inches wide, shoulder to shoulder. The C+M+B on the nameplate on the base are the initials of the Three Wise Men. It is a custom in many German homes to inscribe the letters C+M+B above the front door. This commemorates the Three Wise Men as they were guided by the Star of Bethlehem to the manger. The nutcracker comes with the original box.
