Description: Sterling case American Waltham Watch Co. Pocket Watch Model 1893, Grade No.85 - 17j Adj. Size 18 The round box is what it came from a local estate in. The handwritten note was in with it. The note was in 3 pieces and I taped it back together.The note says "Father's watch the one he carried last. He bought this one & one he gave to Dave about 1910". I have no idea about the family name. I bought this about 30 years ago and have forgotten if I ever knew.Serial No. 15031859 - Look it up on the Waltham serial number look up and get additional info on this exact watch. Here is some of the important stuff.Model 1893 but part of a run of 1000 made in 1906. This works with the note that says it was bought about 1910.Double Sunk Dial on Enamel dial.No dents or ding on the case. The silver is too thick to dent easily.The total watch weighs 118 grams or 4.15 ounces. I have shown the solid sterling Back Only of the watch on the scale to show how thick the sterling case is. It weighs 18 grams by itself.Returns accepted only if item is not as described.Good condition - see all photos. Watch is currently running with a very good beat. Keeping reasonable time for a watch stored for years. I don't see any cracks in the dial. The only flaw I see is the "Hours" hand has broken part way off. Can still read the hour with the stub.
