The glue used in the binding appears brittle and the lasting integrity of the booklet is doubtful. Binding of the text appears secure with no loose pages. The text pages are clean, no markings; a couple pages have dog-eared corner folds. Cartoon illustrations accompany many of the limericks.5.5" x 9" 92 p. Asimov (1920-1992) was a professor of biochemistry known for his prolific authoring of more than 500 books, primarily in the science fiction genre, but also mysteries, popular science and other non-fiction. He wrote a collection of limericks for children in 1984 and altogether 9 collections of humorous pieces between 1971 and 1992. This collection of 100 limericks is a sequel to "Lecherous Limericks" (1975) and "More Lecherous Limericks" (1976). The author's introduction (p. 1-6) describes his rhyming and construction; each limerick is followed by the author's commentary, ranging from a couple sentences to a couple paragraphs, and many include a cartoonish illustration by Brofman.
