It is capable of alloy pellet velocities up to 900 FPS in .22 to provide the power needed for plinking, pest control, and small-game hunting. This air rifle features a synthetic all-weather stock with a variety of adjustments, such as an adjustable cheekpiece with five positions, interchangeable buttpad spacers to get the ideal length of pull, and interchangeable textured pistol grips for multiple hand sizes. It also has Pro Adaptive checkering on the bottom of the flat forearm and the pistol grip to provide increased hold stability. The Stoeger XM1 Scout has a regulator to ensure each shot leaves the barrel at a predictable velocity for consistency, and it includes a regulator gauge on the bottom for easy monitoring of the expected performance. It also has an adjustable hammer spring that allows for performance tuning, and a threaded muzzle with cap that enables the addition of a moderator for quieter shots. This air rifle has a Picatinny optics rail that accommodates scopes or other optics, and it also includes removable Picatinny accessory rails that attach to both sides and the bottom of the front of the forearm for adding accessories such as lasers, flashlights, and a bipod.
