Description: New 16.5 cm./6.5"(blade length) Suisin shiroko/white steel deba made in Japan. The white steel blade is not stainless steel and must be cared for properly. It must be thoroughly cleaned and dried after each use to prevent staining. The bolster is water buffalo horn. Deba knives are thicker and heavier knives used for cutting up meat, fish or chicken. Please note this knife isn't to be used on frozen foods nor as a cleaver. If misused the blade can be damaged. Knife is boxed and includes a wooden knife cover. Note: color of bolster varies.
