Description: PLEASE READ BELOW! SUPER RARE 1974 Malcolm Hall Kings Road Collection Satin Velvet Tuxedo Jacket This tuxedo jacket was made and designed by Malcolm Hall in 1974, it is part of the sought after King's Road Collection. He initially designed the jacket pattern as a stage costume for Ian Hunter of Mott The Hoople. These jackets are very rare and hard to come by! While this jacket has been kept in fantastic condition, it does have some notable wear: - under each armpit there is slight staining- there are 2 very obvious tears on the back of the jacket both located on the seam where the arm meets the backs of the jacket. - the tear on the back left arm is 1.5 inches, right along the seam- the tear on the right is .5 inches also right along the seam - there is a very small eraser size velvet pile loss on the front lower left side on the jacket (all of these mentions can be seen in the photos above) I have priced this jacket based on its current condition and my extensive research on auctioned pieces, as well as spoke to collectors of that era. Please don't hesitate to send me an offer, and PLEASE reach out with any questions or for more photos. I am happy to send them! The jacket is labeled a size MEDIUM19 inches pit to pit 19 inches chest size 25 inches sleeve length 16 inches shoulder to shoulder 27 inches shoulder to hem 31 inches neck to bottom Malcolm Hall is a British fashion designer known for his vibrant and flamboyant tailored suits, often made from luxurious materials like velvets, satins, silks, and brocades.
