No Guarantee on sex. My fish breed true super reds. My fish do not breed or produce albino, calicos or regular plecos. Fish are 1.25" or bigger. Mix of potential males and females but no guarantee on sex of fish. Breeding pairs, Ready-to-breed pairs and female available at my other listings Diet Bristlenose plecos are not very picky eaters but I provide them with quality food. The main foods listed are my go-to food for my plecos but other food can be introduced by gradually feeding it to them. Other listed foods are given as a snack or treat (twice or once a week or once ever 2 weeks). This ensures the fish have a varied diet. USPS will ONLY refund express live animal shipping fees if they are delivered 3 days after shipping. Live animal Express shipments have a different guarantee. I have USPS tag all my orders as "live animal - others" in their system which is the legitimate way to ship fish. Saturday (11:59 pm PDT) is the last day to order for fish to ship the upcoming Monday. Fish are put on fasting 24 hours before being shipped. Reduced fish poop in the bag an ensures better survival during shipping. I ship Mondays for all orders and I can ship Tuesdays for West coast orders ONLY. Monday shipments have the best chance to arrive in the same week if any delays are encountered. Fish are professionally packed. Fish double-bagged using 4 mil polybags (total 8 mil for 2 bags) that are sealed with an impulse sealer. I also use pure oxygen for each bag. Inner bags have the corners sealed diagonally to prevent ship from getting squished at bag corners. See PICTURES 2 Fish will be bagged in the same bag since the fish sizes are small and I use big bags for all my fish. Fish are shipped in styrofoam insulated box. I use a hot wire cutter for my insulation. Fish are shipped in large 12" x 9" x 9" boxes. Boxes have "Live Fish" stickers since orders are all tagged as USPS "Live animal - other" shipments. Heatpacks are available and will be provided at no extra cost Care document is added with every order which gives additional information on care, breeding, feeding etc. I reserve the right to refuse an order is the temps are too extreme to ship fish safely.
