Description: SUPERB RARE ANTIQUE- HAND WOVEN SPLIT OAK Basket. Fantastic old patina on this beautiful unusually shaped basket Hand woven from split wood. It is in Very Good condition There is not a handle on it at this time I can see that it might have had a handle where the slats are lighter at what seems logical was the back This beautiful piece of art stands six and a half inches high and has a slight triangular shape The base of the basket is three and a half inches wide at its widest by three and just under a quarter inches The mouth of the basket is a circle with an opening of two and a half inches and an outside with of three and a half at its widest There is one place or two places where there's slight scuffing showing lighter wood underneath the patina This piece does appear to have good age and is in remarkably good condition Please see the photos for best description A beautiful addition to your home decor to hold your flowers, your utensils or to be added to your collection
