Description: Sword/sabre with a metal scabbard. Looks like the U.S. M-1860 Cavalry Sword carried by the Union Army during the war between the states (1861-1865), however there are no markings to prove it, and it is stamped INDIA. Brass three branch guard and wire bound leather-covered grip, complete with polished steel two ring scabbard. Sword with scabbard is approx 42.5" long. Has some rust and a tear in leather, see photos. Please read description and view all photos to see the condition of the item. Zoom in to get a closer look. All sales are final.
