Description: Listed for your consideration is a vintage Sylvania GTE Halogen Incandescent CAPSYLITE NSP 72-watt 120V incandescent halogen bulb. It is constructed of heavy bottle glass and has a 3500 hour average life with average lumens of 1300. From what I could determine, this bulb dates to the 1980s-1990s. It was made in the United States and is new old stock (NOS), in its' original packaging. Designed for use in facility lighting and maintenance. With its' narrow spot beam (NSP), it provides a focused, intense light that is perfect for task lighting and accent lighting. Apparently Sylvania discontinued these bulbs because they caused problems on dimmer switches, due to a diode flicker. I've tested this bulb in a regular lamp and it works perfectly, gives off a bright light and has no flickering. The bulb has no damage, no cracks. No odors, non-smoking environment. The box has light shelf wear but is clean, no markings. This bulb is a rare find today and a true gem for any collector or enthusiast. Add this unique piece to your collection today! Thank you for looking!
