This is a complete thumb kit including USA hoses sleeved in abrasive resistant socks with high quality CEJN flat faced couplers to fit the factory auxiliary hydraulic lines which come down the stick, no trips to the hardware store. This specific thumb measures 34" long x 13" wide and features two 3/4" thick AR400 steel tines which are CNC cut and specifically designed for grabbing rocks, brush, stumps, and more. Upgrading to 1" thick tines is available. Please call. We use our custom USA made 3000psi welded hydraulic cylinder with an induction hardened, chrome plated 2" rod, to fit into the supplied cylinder mount which will need to be welded onto your machine. These cylinders are designed to run up to 3000psi, tested at 4500psi. Please let us know if there is a factory cylinder mount on your machine already as we have a different thumb available if you'd like to utilize the factory mount. The hydraulic cylinder also utilizes a hardline from the front port to the base so that the hoses connect out of harms way, and finally we install replaceable bushings in the cylinder crosstubes for easy future maintenance. The cylinders are also fully rebuildable and utilize standard components. These are fully welded USA made hydraulic cylinders, not cheap tie-rod cylinders. All pins are included with this kit including a longer main pin and they are turned from HT4142 USA steel to the appropriate spec. The main pin will be supplied with a countersunk grease fitting just like the factory one so you can still maintain the end of your stick. Protected grease fittings are provided at all pivoting locations so that all components of the thumb can be maintained. There is a reason other thumbs sell for less because they can't be maintained, use cheap import cylinders, cheap import steel, or lesser grade steel. As you can see, we offer a completely turn-key thumb package that is hundreds of dollars less than the dealership while still offering incredible quality and components not found on the OE model.
