Description: TAMURA YUKIO TOP QUALITY JAPANESE CLOISONNE VASE, decorated in both enamel and gin bari technique with a profusion of flowering daisies or sunflowers above green leaves, and reserved on a light blue ground. Height 12.5 inches, Widest Width appx. 5 inches, with no cracks, chips, or restorations, silver wire and rims, marked on the rim, together with the original wood tomobako case signed and sealed by the artist, made in the mid-Showa Period, c. 1950-60. CONDITION: Vase in undamaged condition, intact rims, wood tomobako storage box has been damaged with some gluing and staining, but otherwise intact.Due to the delicacy of this very important work of art it will be shipped with extensive wrapping with both foam peanuts, foam sheets, and bubble wrap in a double wall box for protection.
