Get in Touch Tarox Bespoke Front Solid Brake Discs for Maserati 5000 GT (1959 > 1965) Check Out Our Feedback Product Description Since the late seventies the doors of Tarox have been open to customers far and wide helping them to solve their braking problems. On many occasions they have been asked to remanufacture discs that are no longer available through the normal aftermarket outlets or from the car manufacturer. In other cases they were requested to engineer an uprated Tarox version of an existing disc, sometimes by creating a two piece arrangement instead of the standard OE single piece structure, other times just using Tarox' high tensile cast for improved durability and resilience. PERFORMANCE CARS: All Tarox discs for high performance cars start as European sourced steel billets that are processed in their Italian factory. In most cases discs are manufactured in a two piece configuration using hard anodised alloy bells which are usually fixed (although some applications are offered as floating). Due to technical restrictions (e.g. internal handbrakes) or legal restrictions (e.g. ABE in Germany) it is not always possible to use a two piece version of a specific disc - in these cases Tarox offer a single piece disc made to the exacting dimensions of the original from their high tensile steel. CLASSIC CARS: For owners of Classic cars, retaining the original look of the car is essential. At Tarox no effort is spared to preserve these original looks and as a consequence in most cases their classic car discs are supplied as a single piece disc with their Zero (plain) finish. Classic discs can also be ordered with the usual Tarox styles (F2000, Sport Japan and G88). A word of caution! Many of the older exotic and classic cars were virtually hand made and as such this may create some situations where the specifications of the cars and components may not be consistent and this applies to brake discs too. When enquiring about an application for some older cars or where the manufacturing process and/or parts specifications are thought not to have been consistent throughout the cars production years, we may send you the technical drawing of the discs to confirm that the dimensions are correct and the disc is suitable for the car in question. Like all Tarox discs, the Tarox Bespoke Range are subject to structural stress relieving heat treatment and manually ground to make sure their surface is perfectly level. If an item is faulty, or has been sent incorrectly by fault of Larkspeed, then we will reimburse the full price paid including any shipping.
