Some wear around the corners, edges and spine. Spine bumped. Black imprinting on green cloth front cover and spine is in VG condition. Page corners have some thumb wear. Covers are in good condition for their ages. Inside foxing. A bit of pencil writing on the inside front end page. No other markings. Pages are generally clean but yellowed. DJ: Covered with clear, protective plastic. The original DJ underneath is very worn around the corners, edges and spine with chips and tears, particularly at top spine. The white parts of the DJ are yellowed. Clearly marked First Edition. This First Edition had erroneously listed a copyright date for the title. It is listed twice on the copyright page, once for 1941 and again, for 1965 instead of 1964. These copyright mistake have been coved with errata slips. 5.25" x 7.5". 229 numbered pages with B&W illustrations by Frank Frazetta. No ads at the end. Tarzan and the Castaways is a collection of three stories by American writer Edgar Rice Burroughs, the 24th and final in his series of twenty-four books about the jungle hero Tarzan. The title novella, and the two short stories were first published in pulp magazines in 1940 and 1941.
