Description: selling the Technics Quartz Direct Drive Automatic Turntable system SL-QD33 shown from a local estate. we hooked this unit up to a speaker we had at the warehouse and dropped an album we had there on it. it played fine and sounded pretty good to us. it has an audio technica 3003 cartridge. after initially hitting start, the tone arm moved over as intended and it began playing. when we tried it again to get a video it would not advance the tone arm again. we had to manually move the tone arm to start the platter spinning and set it on the LP. either something is wrong with the start/stop button, the unit needs some type of adjustment, or we are doing something wrong. either way, that is how we are selling it. we tried the 45 speed also and it worked. we did not get the cue function to operate. physically the unit is in good shape other than the dust cover. it has some marks, scratches and wear. it did its job. this is not a mint example shipping for lower 48 CONUS in calculator.
