Description: In several other little rock boxes, I am selling some of my tektite collection, and here are some more of them, two pieces of really striking and classic tektite shape. These are Indochinites, created by an asteroid impact 75 million years ago, spraying all of Southeast Asia with varied and fascinating globs of frozen glass, often assuming the coveted strand and dumbbell shapes, like these, so obviously liquid at some point. Tektite is a fragile glass that chips easily. These two specimens are of a very unusual size and quality and are in superb shape to grace any tektite or meteorite collection. The big in is 68 grams and the smaller 63. Because of their unusual shapes and condition, and taking into account shipping, $79 for the pair strikes me as fair.
