In the current listing, for sale is one interesting telescope -refractor 80mm + 2" Crayford Dual Speed precise focuserAn instrument with no damage, no noticeable cosmetic signs - works and looks great! The picture you see or photo is precise, contrast and brilliant, without aberrations nor comma. Because its a vintage refractor and has no label, I consulted with a optical specialist. He carefully unscrewed the frontal cylinder with lenses and inside are 3 splitted ones. There no space between them so it's a triplet telescope.Another test: the current telescope was compared with an equal simple achromat one, using a 4 mm wide UWA eyepiece. The difference in the observed pictures is great! The achromat notiseable produces purple and yellow shadows arround bright observed objects. But the current triplet gives clear picture without such purple/yellow aberations! So I'm selling it for a very low price only because I don't know its brand and country. But iyou will receive a very good triplet for sure. On one f the pictures, you can see and compare it with another 80mm Vixen Spotting scope- see how bigger is this white scope. Its frontal part is large foldable (extendable) to preservethe objective from light polution and reflections. !!!
