The Villa d'Este in Tivoli Italy is a 16h century Villa near Rome, famous for its terraced hillside Italian Renaissance Garden and fountains. The Villa was commissioned by Cardinal Ippolito I d'Este (1509- 1572), second son of Alfonso I d'Este, the Duke of Ferrara and grandson of Pope Alexander VI through his mother Lucrezia Borgia. Housed in museum quality frame. All materials used for framing are archival. Museum Tru-Vue glass for protection from UV light & inspected for quality by the Dutch Art Gallery of Dallas, found to be in excellent condition.
