HEAVY DUTY DIRECTIONAL SNAPS MIL-SPEC PARACORD, genuine 3x7 strand 550 Cord! NOT commercial 2x7 grade that many sellers use! FIRESTEEL HOLDER, will Hold up to 3/8" diameter rods. Elastic Shock Cord included to replace lanyard on your firesteel handle. The Elastic Shock Cord holds the Firesteel in place. Retention does NOT WORK after rod thins from Striking the rod from use. NEVER RELY ON RETENTION. ALWAYS USE AN ELASTIC SHOCK CORD TO HOLD THE FIRESTEEL IN THE HOLDER. Retention Style holders only work temporarily... Hardware is High Grade Black Oxide Steel.
