Measures approximately 8.5 x 10.75 inches. 20 full-color tipped-in illustrations and numerous black and white drawings by Hugh Thomson. Boards and spine are in good to very good condition. Interior is in very good condition. Boards are covered in crimson linen with intricate gold illustrations and lettering on the front. Spine has gold lettering but is faded. Board corners are gently rubbed with just a trace of exposure on one corner. Spine has toning, fraying, and some loss on the ends. Spine is intact; no splitting on the hinges. A few small foxing spots here and there, but otherwise, pages are clean. No writing inside. All illustrations are attached and are crisp and clean. All plate guards are present.
