Description: My mother was an avid collector of antique Children's Illustrated Books. She would visit every paper show around the Northeast US searching for rare books and postcards. When she was older she then started ordering books from overseas. Her collection was quite extensive. She passed away a few years ago and I was left with her collection. I did auction (through an auction house) quite a few of these books but kept the more rare and unusual ones. I now find it is time to sell the rest of the books. Vintage "The Children's Picture Book" published by Whitman Publishing Co. in 1929. The softcover book measures 9" x 11 3/4", and features illustrations by Hazel Frazee, Eleanor Duke, Helen Chamberun, and G. Shaw Walworth. The 12 pages represents a different month of the year. Description: Textured paper with vivid color illustrations. Covers and inside pages are in very good condition. Sticker impression on second page. Minor soiling on covers and one small bend on front cover and wear on binding otherwise if very nice shape for age. Please review photos and email me with any questions. Thank you for looking.
