Description: In 1986, Easton Press began publishing a series of science fiction novels with commissioned introductions and artwork. There are now more than 140 volumes in the series, according to "The Internet Database of Speculative Fiction". I subscribed to the series early and was buying books from the 80's into the 90's. This book is part of this Masterpieces of Science Fiction series and was purchased new in 1988. A nice looking copy overall, I'm actually not sure whether I read this once or not. The binding is still nice and tight. Some gilding missing from front cover, a scrape on top edge, and a few imperfections in the gilding on the fore edge. A small dent in the bottom of the front cover. Ribbon bottom edge not tucked between pages - Please see photos. Complete with Collector's Notes. No Book Plate. Please look carefully and feel free to ask any questions you might have. I am not a professional book grader by any means, but try to describe accurately and show any faults that I see. I have quite a few books from this series, a handful still sealed, many shelved and unread, some have been read once.
