Description: Offered is the nicest General Electric or GE 8 track tape player on eBay. It’s in perfect working condition because it was just serviced, please read full description as what was done. As for cosmetics, please view all the close-up pictures. This unit is beyond nice! It was not used very much, this is the finest "Blaster II" I've ever came across.The size of the unit is 10-1/2" wide, 8" tall and 4" deep. The unit weighs 4 pounds. It plays on batteries (six “C” cells) for portable use and it also comes with a wall power cord for home use. Comes with factory box without packing inserts or user manual. You have to realize these units are now 45+ years old and time is not kind on lube/grease (dries out), rubber belts (loses elasticity or turns to a gooey mess) and controls/switches (stiff and/or dirty) that haven’t moved in decades. Even a NOS (New Old Stock) player that is sealed in the box and never used will more than likely need to be serviced to work properly. I want to make sure you get a good functioning unit and it will stay that way for some time. You want to be sure it was serviced by someone with knowledge about these old players and not someone just trying to get it barely working to sell it. It’s just too easy for anyone to claim the work has been done without showing any proof. I always include numinous pictures of that process and a quick video of the actual unit playing.
