Description: The writing on the back reads: "Die Nacht kurz vor dem ersten Angriff (Slowakisch-Polnische Grenze)" 'The night right before the first attack (Slovakian-Polish border)' There is a developing stamp on the back dated 19 Dez (December) 1939. Appears the name of the developer was Poto Kloe, in latin "I drink glory". Literally on the eve of the German invasion of Poland from Slovakia in camp with the 61st Regiment of the 7th Infantry Division of the German Army. The Germans would move into Milowka from here and eventually engage the Poles at the Battle of Węgierska Górka.I have other photos in this sequence that are from that particular date and they identify this unit.
