The savior can be depicted as tall, sitting on the throne, in a waist, or hard. In the left hand is a scroll or gospel, the right usually in a blessing gesture. The image of Christ the Almighty is used in single icons, as part of deisus compositions, in iconostases, wall paintings, etc. So, this image traditionally occupies the space of the central dome of the Orthodox church.
