The show moved to the US and opened in St. Louis, MO in 1987 and then playing San Francisco. This tour began in 1989 and played 110 cities. The cast includes Steve Blanchard, Rebecca Baxter, William Linton, Merwin Foard, Laurie Franks, Kevin Davis, Suzanne Grodner, Wayne Hoffman, Robert Jensen, John-Charles Kelly, Gannon McHale, Eileen McNamara, Serena Soffer and Vince Trani. Music by Verdi, Gounod, Offenbach, Mozart, Weber and Donizetti, lyrics and book by Ken Hill (based on the novel, Le Fantome de l'Opera by Gaston Leroux). Directed by Ken Hill.
