Description: Offered is the vintage soft cover book "The Rambler in Georgia", edited by Mills Lane and published in Savannah by the Beehive Press. The book, consisting of observations about the state from 13 different travelers from the Revolution to the Civil War (see photo #4 for contents) has a 1973 copyright date and appears to be a first edition. There are numerous black and white illustrations, including a foldout map of the state (see photo #5 for list). The soft cover edition of this book is apparently a rare find; at the time of original listing I could not find any other soft cover copies for sale on eBay or anywhere else. The book is approx. 9 3/4" x 7" and contains 233 pages. It is in very good condition. The soft cover has no tears, holes or wear but is lightly soiled. I see no missing or torn pages and all of the pages are well-attached to the cover. They have yellowed slightly but are otherwise clean. I see no writing in the book. I have a lot of experience with vintage and antique books but am not an expert so please let me know if my description is missing information and you have additional questions. I will do my best to answer them! Please take a moment to look at some of the other items in my eBay store!
