Description: This lot includes the first 9 (complete set is 12) of The RGS Story. Each book has the original plastic dustjacket, which has protected the books. The plastic has also aged, which means it has a slight yellow tint, and random tiny tears. They show minor wear from storage, mostly on the plastic, but there is some very minor wear on the actual book corners/edges. All of the books have spotting along the top edge of the pages. Three books have price stickers on the plastic. Each book is 9" x 11", and the set weighs a total of 38 lbs. 14 oz. It's a very heavy set, so I may end up shipping in two boxes. Vol. II has a personal inscription written inside the front cover, and the white page opposite that is yellowed around the edges (and has a price written in the corner).Vol. III has a personal inscription written inside the front cover and three signatures on the title page. It also has a page sticking out the top just a little bit, which is a fold-out map.Vol. IV has taped repairs on the plastic on the bottom right corner and half of the right edge on the front, and along the whole edge on the back.Vol. V has a couple of tiny scuffs and a pink dot on the cover.Vol. VII has three signatures on the title page, and a map tucked into the back.
