About our listings:We are a non profit scouting museum started back in 2009. Since then we have purchased old collections as well as received old collection as donations. As such we keep what is not already in the museum and sell the rest to rase money for maintaining the museum as well as purchasing of frames and other items to keep it moving forward. Note that some of these patches are used and some are new. Some do not have any kind of odor to them. Some may have the smell of a basement. We do not clean or wash anything we take in. So buyers be aware that this is the case. How it worksOur museum is a completely mobile Scout Museum designed to be set up anywhere in the state of Maine and seen by anyone who books us. Units or individuals can contact me by email or through ebay for a showing at least 30 days in advance. If I have the date free I will show up with the museum and set it up for viewing. I have done showings at University of Scoutings, Camporees, Court of Honors, District Dinners, Pine Wood Derbys and a hand full of other events. The showing is free but we ask that we are allowed to set up a trading post to allow for funds to come into the museum. The museum itself is dedicated to the preservation of Maine's history of Scouting. In the Museum you will find Maine Related Scouting artifacts as well as BSA national artifacts such as insignia, merit badges and rank. There are currently over 10,000 items in the MMSM.
