The song was written for and dedicated to MISS VIOLA GILLETTE whose photograph is in the cover. She also sends a copy of a hand written thank you note to McPherran reproduced on the back cover. This beautiful musical production song from 1905 is a rare find. It tells of a cavalier knight declaring his undying love for his sweetheart, his Snow Flake. Just look at that beautiful cover with the photo of this young American contralto. The piece is the large 10” by 13” size and is suitable for framing. The piece was copyrighted and published by the Sterling Music Company of Chicago The overall condition of the piece is good. Defects are a 5-1/4” tear at the bottom of the fold, and a 1” tear at the top of the fold, a small tear at the top of the back cover and the paper has a little of the normal age discoloring to be expected on paper of this vintage.
