My grading system is similar to that of Goldmine. The records are graded underneath a 200 watt light. The grades I use are, M-,NM,VG++(close to NM), VG++,VG+,VG, VG-,G,F,P. Covers and sleeves rarely are graded above VG++. 45s rarely grade above NM. LPs are shipped in a plastic sleeve outside of the cover to prevent splitting the cover during shipment unless the LP is sealed.
