Seventy-five years ago, Dorothy Gale soared over the rainbow and found herself in the glorious Land of Oz. Barbie Collector celebrates The Wizard of Oz gold-and-diamond anniversary with an exquisite series of dolls. For the first time ever, the doll is sculpted in vinyl in the likeness of Judy Garland, the actress who portrayed Dorothy. Before Dorothy is 'off to see the Wizard' she meets Glinda, the Good Witch of the North dressed in a pale pink gown adorned with silvery glitter butterflies, a magnificent crown and 'magic' wand. The doll is sculpted in the likeness of Billie Burke, the actress who portrayed Glinda in the film. "Ill get you my pretty.... and youre little dog too!' Dorothy and her friends set our to find the Wizard despite the Wicked Witch of the West, who is sculpted to look like Margaret Hamilton, the actress who played her.
