Description: This is a vintage copy of THE WOMAN Magazine, a small scale magazine at 5" x 7" in size, in black and white and in color. The magazine is printed on paper that is similar to newspaper and is somewhat brittle. The cover is missing a tiny section on the of print along the bosoms of Rosalind Russell and there is some light scuffing. The inside is yellowed with age but perfectly readable. This issue discusses whether home perms are safe. It also will help to find the correct diet for YOU. There is also a cheeky article titled "Why Women Wear Clothes" by John Kord Lagemann. Very whimsical. There are many photos and advertisements included in this magazine that highlight life in the 1950's as it was for the "modern American woman". I have several of these, see my other auctions. I will combine shipping. Thanks for looking and any questions feel free to email me!
