On volume I, the head of the spine is torn and thereis a small ink stain on the side edge. Spine labels chipped on volumes I, II, IV, and V. Owner signatures inside. Occasional old pen scribbles in volume I. Mild insect damage to side edge of last 30 or so pages in volume II. Frontispiece torn out of volumes IV-VII. Front free endpaper torn in volume VI. Pages a bit browned with age and have occasional mild stains and blemishes. Text is still easily legible, and binding is secure.
