I may be a beginner entrepreneur, but I have been making masks since 2020-2021. Not only that, but I've been artsy my whole life. As a student, I also have lots of my time taken up by school. Masks can take several hours (6-8+) to even several days to complete with my schedule, and the resources that go into them aren't inexpensive either. To make these masks, I need to buy the bases, then add several coats of Acrylic paint, dry it, then seal it with Mod Podge, dry it, attach the eye mesh, dry it, add pupils, dry it, attach the eyelashes, dry it, fur any ears and attach them, dry it, prepare a muzzle and attach it, dry it, cut out and attach the fur/felt/fabric/etc., dry it, add other details such as earrings or a nose or horns and dry them, etc.. Lots of care and effort goes into my mask making, not to mention the sentimental value(s) and the blood, sweat, and tears of hot glue burns! Buying the materials can easily reach over $100 as well, and I need to make money back. (For example, a yard of fur can usually be around $20, two sets of bead strands can be over $16, a 5lb tub of air dry clay can be around $10, the bases are easily around $20, and the list goes on!) I also have to gather resources for shipping as well as materials for freebies! Although I do recognize not to make my items too pricey- as I too enjoy affordable fun- I will not undersell my work! ⭐️ DISCLAIMERS: - I hot glue my projects (but I'm not skimpy with the application, meaning I'm very generous with how much I put on) - I can only take payment(s) via CashApp - Faux Fur/Felt/Fabric/etc. can be limited in colour - The customer will have to pay for shipping, US only - Ear and muzzle shaping, especially if covered with fur, along with air dry clay and faux fur/"hair", can add more weight to the mask - I cannot make furred hoods ⭐️ WANT TO KNOW MORE?
