Matthias Kind is a Professor of Thermal Process Engineering and teaches at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). His research interests include heat and mass transfer and product engineering by crystallization and drying. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Johann Stichlmair is a Professor of Fluid Process Engineering who until recently taught at the Technical University Munich. His research interests are process synthesis and apparatus design in thermal process engineering.
