Description: T&T DH 1409-3 Spey Rod Rod is used and in good condition. The only flaws are cosmetic. There are no scratches or dings that penetrate the clear coat. The rod belonged to my dad. He used it on one (or two?) trips only. He bought the rod new. THE BADThe clearcoat is scratched near the front of the cork (see photos) and the reel seat is also lightly scratched (see photos). There is one minor scratch between the cork and the first (largest) line guide. See photo with my finger indicating the scratch. THE GOODThere are no dings or blemishes in this rod other than what I've highlighted above. The worst thing you can find in a Spey rod is a significant ding anywhere on the blank (mostly caused by a collision with a weighted fly). You WON'T find anything like that on this rod. I've described (and photographed) all the flaws on this rod. If it weren't for these minor cosmetic flaws, this rod would be in 99% condition.
