Review Quote This book is shot through with "be true to yourself" messages that seems just right for the target readers. The early chapter book reader (late primary, early junior) end up with a good story, interesting heroes, quality writing, some laughs, and a very engaging reading experience. This is a well written book that would be great for reluctant readers. This book would be a great addition to classroom, school and public libraries. -- Goodreads - Carla Johnson-HicksThis is a lively, cheerful and clever tale loaded with gently crafted jokes and wordplay, and with a sweet and upbeat heart.-- Goodreads - Pop BobThorfinn is a wonderfully appealing character, a misfit among Vikings, and late elementary and intermediate readers will be amused by all the adventures of his crew and the repulsive recipes whipped up for the Vikings to eat on an everyday basis. The illustrations only add to the pleasures of reading and laughing while enjoying this book, part of a series from the United Kingdom. Its great to see an underdog and someone who so clearly doesnt fit in Viking society be triumphant and then be modest about his accomplishments.-- Goodreads - BarbaraA funny book which children will love!-- Goodreads - Kirsteen Details ISBN1782502319 Publisher Floris Books Year 2016 ISBN-10 1782502319 ISBN-13 9781782502319 Format Paperback Publication Date 2016-02-18 Pages 136 Media Book Illustrator Richard Morgan Place of Publication Edinburgh Country of Publication United Kingdom DEWEY 823.92 Short Title THORFINN & THE DISGUSTING FEAS Language English Series Young Kelpies UK Release Date 2016-02-18 Audience Age 6-9 NZ Release Date 2016-02-18 Imprint Floris Books Illustrations 50 b/w illustrations Author Richard Morgan Series Number 4 Audience Children / Juvenile AU Release Date 2016-05-14 We've got this At The Nile, if you're looking for it, we've got it.
