Description: This is a slightly unusual Hanuman figurine in that it has 3 identical Hanuman "Monkey God" faces. If anyone can help clarify a better name for this, it will be appreciated, and I will make any corrections. There is a of interesting information about this deity in Hinduism.This belonged to a late collector friend who had many spiritual journeys to India, Tibet, Nepal, etc. in the early 1970's. He left a lot of items behind to the estate, but no one seems to have asked where this or the many other brass and bronze pieces came from. His family knew that he has had these pieces for decades, and are confident that these are not from any U.S. import store. I have numerous other brass and bronze spiritual pieces also listed on eBay.This measures 5 1/4" high x 5 1/4" wide x 2 1/4" deep. It appears to be solid brass, and weighs a heavy 4 lbs., 4 oz.I gave this a quick water and toothbrush rinse, but have not tried extensive cleaning or polishing.
