(Wikipedia Excerpts) Timothy Bruce Schmit (born October 30, 1947) is an American musician, singer, and songwriter. He has performed as the bassist and vocalist for Poco and the Eagles, having replaced bassist and vocalist Randy Meisner in both cases. Schmit has also worked for decades as a session musician and solo artist. In 1998, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Eagles. Playin' It Cool is the debut solo studio album by American musician Timothy B. Schmit, the bass guitarist and co-lead vocalist for the Eagles. The album was released in 1984 on Asylum in the United States and Europe. The album features guest appearances from Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Steve Lukather, Carl Wilson, J.D. Souther and Rita Coolidge. The Seller was in the retail record business in the 1970's-1980's and acquired a collection of 2500+ albums from that era, which is now being sold on Ebay. Most are promotional and collectible LPs which have never (or seldom) been played. Many are white label promos, first pressings, and often factory sealed. The collection has been securely boxed and stored in a smoke free environment since 1983, 40 years! If you like what you see, please check back occasionally to see my new listings. Grading methodology is as follows: M (MINT) - Album is brand new, sealed, and has never been played. NM (NEAR MINT) - Vinyl looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. LP cover may have some light rub marks. VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) - Vinyl may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned corners, or a slight seam split. May have slight signs of wear also may be marred by a cut out hole, sawcut, or cut corner indicating it is a promotional copy. VG (VERY GOOD) - Vinyl has light wear, scratches, or scuffs. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached, etc. This Seller allows for combined shipping costs when multiple items are purchased in the same transaction. Each additional (single) LP will ship for $1. For this discount to be applied to your purchase, you must use the ADD TO CART to combine the items into one transaction. Do not use BUY IT NOW. Browse through the other items this Seller has for sale, adding to your cart as you go. When done, go to your cart and check out. Your items will be combined into one shipment. Please note that items can still be purchased by other buyers while they are in your cart. Seller ships domestically within the United States via United States Post Office Media Mail with tracking. This is the most economical option. Seller will insure packages valued above $30. Insurance does not cover missing packages after they have been delivered to the buyer's address, only damage or loss during shipping. Warping could accur if vinyl records are exposed to heat and direct sunlight, so please make adequate arrangements to safely receive your packages. If Buyer prefers a faster shipping service, please contact the Seller before completing the transaction to discuss options such as Priority Mail. Per USPS, Priority Mail packages are delivered in 1-3 days. Sorry, NO international shipping.
