Description: Spanish bullfighting sword, circa mid 1900's. This is quite solid for the period. One-piece grip and guard are wonderfully detailed, monogrammed "PSL". Measures about 41 inches. I can think of other first choices for weapons to grab when confronted with a two-ton mad cow, but if you're going to be in that position in the conceivable future, this sword will work as well as an older sword would, and won't have to be considered part of your estate if you miss. I suggest mounting it on a wall for a really awesome decoration, conversation starter, brow raiser. The edge is not sharp, but the end is indeed pointy.
